Windows Sockets FTP Client 32-bit v4.0
WS_FTP is a complete File Transfer Protocol program for Windows.
Its graphical interface works with many IP connections including PPP and SLIP,
plus supports many host types such as Windows NT, AS400, standard UNIX and
others. The utility requires a properly set up Windows sockets provider like
Trumpet or Chameleon which is usually installed correctly if a connection to
the internet is currently working on the PC. When WS_FTP is invoked, it asks
for an address to find, then connects and displays a directory of the local
machine on the left and the remote (HOST) on the right. Maneuvering through
paths is as simple as clicking on a directory. Transfers are simplified so that
all that is necessary is pointing to the remote file and clicking on download.
Other commands including View files, Execute program and Directory info, are
also built in. When opening locations, the user has the ability to enter in a
name and password for logging into secure sites, and can save options to a
configuration file too. Support for fast sessions are enabled through a command
line parameter that users can add to the startup line. WS_FTP can alternatively
be configured to ask for options at startup. The installation provides options
for installing 16 or 32 bit versions to accommodate any version of Windows.
This is a very minor update that includes marketing and price changes, no code
changes.
Requires Windows 32-bit, Windows Sockets-compatible TCP/IP stack.

McAfee WebScan v1.04
WebScan adds the power and protection of McAfee's
industry-standard virus protection to your World Wide Web and internet use.

Mosaic, NetLauncher, Mosaic in a Box, America Online's World Wide Web Browser,
Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.5 & 2.0, Netcom NetCruiser, Netscape Navigator,
Lotus cc:Mail, and Pegasus Mail. It automatically checks each file downloaded
to your system for viruses, whether it's from email or downloaded through a
browser. Also included with WebScan are the Pegasus Mail email program and the
SPRY Mosaic Web browser.

WFTPD -- Winsock FTP Server v2.2
Here's a tool that can turn your Internet-linked, 16-bit Windows
PC into an FTP server for file transfers to and from your machine on a LAN or
via Dial-up Networking. It supports the common FTP commands, within the
security parameters you establish, and permits 'anonymous' logins. WFTPD is
even smart enough to pick up the IP address on Internet systems with dynamic
addressing, so you can communicate your 'FTP site' location to other users (in
111.222.333.444 standard IP notation). WFTPD permits multiple logins, is easy
to configure, and gives you a running log display (written to file) of online
linkages. WFTPD has been optimized to work with the popular WS_FTP terminal
products, and can be accessed by most Web browsers. This update adds capabil
ities for resuming interrupted transfers, the ability to pull up a directory
selection dialog whenever a directory is required to be entered, and makes it
easier to alter the IP address and port listened to by WFTPD.
Requires Windows 3.x, Windows Sockets-compatible TCP/IP stack.

Teleport Pro v1.06
Teleport Pro is an excellent web spider that searches and captures
files from the Internet. Use its Project Wizard to tell it to download a
complete web site, mirror a site, search for specific files, explore links from
a specified site, and more. Captured files are placed in a directory-style
structure for browsing or individual use. Individual projects can be defined
with starting URLs, file size and type restrictions, depth of exploration,
tenacity, and an exclusion list of undesired site links. This demo version is
restricted to 50 file retrieval missions and limited uses.
Requires Windows 95, WINSOCK.DLL.
